Retrieving my glasses from lost&found (Nice)

Hello all, I lost my glasses while vacationing in Nice and they are now in the lost&found at 1 Rue Raoul Bosio in Vieux Nice. I have about a week left to retrieve them. They must be picked up by me or a named personal representative with my written authorization.
My hotel is willing to mail them to me, but only from the hotel.
I know no one in Nice. Is there anyone out there willing to retrieve my glasses and bring them to hotel de Florence (around corner of Jean Medicine across from Etoile mall)?
I know this is a longshot but my horoscope today says don't give up.
Or, should you have any other suggestions as to getting them from point A to B, I'd be grateful. Craigs list Nice was a bust. Going to work now....
