Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting in KC - Nov 16 (Omaha)

Celebrate the French culture as Alliance Francaise gathers at this year's Fete du Beaujolais Nouveau to enjoy wonderful wine and food pairings. The party will be held from 7: Protected content at The Drop Protected content . 31st St., Kansas City, MO Protected content will feature tastings of four different wines, a glass of your favorite wine, and food pairings for each wine. Additional food and beverages will be available to purchase from the restaurant.

La Fete du Beaujolais Nouveau celebrates "The New Beaujolais," a red wine made from Gamay grapes and produced in the Beaujolais region of France. Originally, Beaujolais Nouveau was the wine enjoyed by vineyard workers to celebrate the end of harvest and experience the first taste of the new vintage. The third Thursday in November is the formal release date of Beaujolais Nouveau.
