Flori-do's and Flori-Don'ts! (Orlando)

Hi everyone,

My name is Kris, a new member who is looking to make the move to Orlando to be with my long-term partner. I should be there in late August for a couple of months. Does anyone know of anything exciting, culturally interesting or downright fun going on during this period? I'd like to know what the group recommends.
