Baby/toddler (Osaka)

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are soon moving to japan with a one year old baby and I was wondering if anyone could share their experience/give us some practical info? For example, I read somewhere they potty train their babies really early so finding nappies/diapers for one year olds might be tricky - is this true? What to do about stroller/pram? Food? Activities in and around Kyoto for toddlers? Best shops to buy baby/kid stuff? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
