Telecommuting from Oslo to US

I'm currently married to a Norwegian citizen, she lives in Oslo. I'm working for a US based company in California but working on moving to Oslo. In the meantime I've decided to telecommute so I can keep my job but work from Norway. I'm having trouble finding info regarding health insurance. My company currently pays most of my insurance costs, is there a way I can stop paying for US health insurance altogether and contribute to the NIS in Norway to be covered there? Any help or direction anyone can provide will be really helpful!!
