Visa help.. (Oslo)

Hello there,

I'm sure this is one of those annoying topics, that probably everyone deals with at some point.

I'm from Australia, but I've been living in China for 3 years. I came to Oslo, on a tourist visa in January as my partner is Norwegian. In the past six months kind of been travelling to UK and also China but most time spent here. I was offered a probationary part time work.I am classified as a skilled worker. I called UDI but they told me because I had been in the Schengen area for over 90 days that I had to go back to Australia for 3 months.

I'm just a little bit sad and I'm sure its my fault for not investigating thoroughly but of course my partner and I wanted to take it slow and test out our relationship here first to make sure it worked out.

Is anyone able to help offer any advice?
