Affordable Women's Hairdressers in Ottawa

Hi Girls, I'm after some suggestions for good hair dressers/ hair salons in Ottawa. I've been in haircut unfriendly places for around 6 years now and am looking for someone good for a severe haircut change (i.e. short!). I've been reading reviews but people seem to think Ottawa hairdressers are all overpriced and don't do a very good job. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Fely
