Canadian + Brazilian moving to Canada (Help) (Ottawa)

Hey everyone. I have a really tough situation for you all.

I am a 29 year old Canadian, she is a 30 year old Brazilian, our son is a 9 year old Brazilian.

We plan on moving to Canada (Ottawa) early to mid Protected content .

My working visa expires December, however I can get 6 months extra as I have a Canadian passport.

She is in Japan because her mother is here. She does not have permanent status. Her mother is moving at the end of the year. So we are in a hurry.

What is the best way to do this?

I was thinking about getting her a tourist to come to Canada, and when we are both there we apply for spousal sponsorship.

Can anyone give us some advice? What is the best / fastest / easiest / safest way to get my family in to Canada with me?

We have been married for two years come this Halloween, and have been together for three years.
