Persian New Year Bazar (Ottawa)

If you would like to taste some Persian flavors, you have a chance this Sunday at Persian New Year (Nowruz) Bazar.

There will be some entertaining activities such as live music bands, DJ as well as dance and singing competetions.

My mother, Safieh, also is going to present some of her specialties for Nowruz at this Bazar. She has rented a table. This is her first experience (and we are very proud of her)...She's excited to be there and hopefully satisfy friends and others longing for those authentic flavors....

The goodies at her table will include Nowruz specialty cookies, Baklavas and variety of home-made pickles . Also while choosing your cookies you can warm up with a bowl of Ash-Reshteh (which is a very tasty traditional broth)
