Questions around Salary (Ottawa)

Hey Guys
My name is Kumar; As like every Kumar, I am from India.
I just got an offer to move to Canada on 3 year Work Permit.
The company initiated the process and I will have to take a call on it real soon.

I have been to Canada a few times, mostly lived in hotels during my short stays.
I am not sure of cost of living, I know its definitely high; so brings back to my actual question.... What is a Good pay Vs an Average pay... I will have my wife and 2 kids- 3 and 1 yr old accompany me.

I have an option of Ottawa Vs Toronto - which one do need to pick
The pay company is offering is 75k+some perks... Is this a Good pay Vs an Average pa
