Hello (Ouagadougou)

Hi there we are a new couple that have moved to Ouaga. We're interested in meeting new friends so if you have some time to meet up for dinners or coffees let us know and we'd love to venture out! We are renting in the middle of town and if we get our furniture in the next couple of weeks we'd love to have some people over too...
Just a couple of pointers if anyone has any ideas:
1) I am looking for a job. I have been working as a doctor for the last 4 years in NZ/Aus and would love to do some clinical/NGO or some public health related work. Unfortunately I am just grasping the mysteries of French at the moment so I could only work in English - expat clinicis perhaps? until in a few months time when I can speak French better.
2) Where can I find a dog?? No special breed, a local mutt puppy would be ideal!

I hear Ouaga is a lovely city and the expat community is awesome. I'm looking forward to meeting you all!
