Moving to Nice France (Oxford)

Hi,
We're a large British family looking to move to Nice in France over the next few months. Kids are aged 14,13,11,10 &7. We speak little French. We want to embark on a new adventure & leave the safety of rural Oxon.

We're spending 5 weeks there over the summer then I plan to return fora month in September to undertake a TEFL course & really absorb myself in the city. Any advice welcomed on realities,pitfalls, where best to live, schools (with 5 kids International is not an option), easiest transition for us. Husband working in UK during week. Not quite sure where to begin but all ready for next chapter, warts & all. Thanks.
