Artblock Panama starts this Thursday 3 February! (Panama City)

Artblock is in Panama again for the second consecutive year, in the art capital of Panama, Casco Viejo. The idea of Artblock in Panama is to support local artists, help them to find the funding with private businesses and to enhance the communication and interaction of artists and public, as well as promote Panama City as an international art center.

This concept was born in Switzerland in Protected content the name of Art Basel. It started with three art collectors, who wanted to create an arts festival open to all, and it is now largest arts festival in the world. This concept has proven successful in cities like Miami, Buenos Aires and New York.

In Panama, this initiative took place for the first time in Protected content this year Artblock is back with triple numbers of attendees. This year Artblock founders have designed events that attract different groups of people - creating a unique community experience in the city. This is a clear advantage for the businesses participating in the festival, as they will have the opportunity to impact many target markets at the same time.
