Boquete gets ready for a big country style Jambore (Panama City)

The Boquete Community Players (BCP) have a fun show planned to begin their Protected content , on Friday, January 28, Protected content 6:00 p.m.. Everyone is invited to join the Boquete expats and wear jeans, hats, boots and spurs for a Jamboree dance and a Chuckwagon dinner.

There will be a costume contest and professional entertainers are on the roster to get everyone into the steps of line dancing, Texas 2 Step and the Tennessee Waltz. The dance costs $5. Dinner costs $10 and is optional. The Chuckwagon dinner includes a bowl of spicy Chili and a plate of creamy cole slaw, cornbread by Sugar & Spice, and a shredded BBQ Beef Sandwich catered by Las Ruinas.

Costume contest prizes include a stay at Rancho de Caldera Resort with dinner at the Tierra de Madre Restaurant, dinner and wine for two at the newly renovated Bistro Boquete and dental services with Dr. Alfredo A. Spiegel A., D.D.S/M.S. in David.
