The “Carols by Candlelight” spectacular this Saturday Dec. 3 at French Plaza in the Old Quarter promises to be sensational. The best of Panama’s choirs and soloists will perform and then lead the audience in the singing of popular carols.
“Sing in English or Spanish, or in your own language” say the organizers, “the words will blend together.”
It will be a heartwarming celebration of the Christmas season. A procession of children carrying candles will parade through the ancient streets to Plaza Francia where a two hour concert of carols, will begin at 7 pm. Residents of the area are planning to decorate their houses and a giant Canadian Christmas tree will light up the event.
