Cleaning teeth, 10-minute session only ? (Panama City)

I visited two dentist clinics yesterday in the region of Chiriqui for a dental cleaning session and both told me the session does not go beyond 10 minutes .

Is this a pattern in Panama or is it just my bad luck to encounter dental clinics which do not provide more than 10 minutes for cleaning ?

Where I come from it`s a Protected content session . Please, explain how it works in Panama.
