Diving as a daytrip (Panama City)

Has anyone gone for a diving daytrip/weekend out of Panama - e.g. Portobello or Las Perla? I am only thinking of places that you can reach fast and without an aeroplane. Would anyone be interested in doing something like that in the coming months? Or does one of you know a good diveschool? Any guidance appreciated....

I will be diving in Bocas at end of August anyway (so no need for suggestions that other places in Panama are much better...). I am simply interested in doing a dive every now and then close to Panama City as well.
