Geoversity Sustainable Energy Party (Panama City)

Hey Everybody!

Fundación Earth Train – Geoversity is hosting an event at our Biocultural Design Center on the 3rd of March, and you are invited!
We have been renovating an uninhabited and over grown house close to the Frank Gehry designed Biomuseo. With voluntary support we are creating a unique place in the shade of an enormous rubber tree. Bamboo structures, an open air stage and a tree house with spectacular views are already setting the scene for incredible events. Water is running, but electricity is lacking.

Besides sharing an afternoon and evening with cultural events in urban nature, you will be offered the opportunity to enter a biocultural competition at a price set by you. The winners will enjoy local Panamanian products and an opportunity to stay at Earth Train Foundation’s Center Mamoní in the rainforest (thanks to support from Experience Mamoní). We also hope that with your help we can eventually get the design center running on sun and wind power.

The program of the day:
2-7PM: Picnic under the rubber tree: Bring your blanket and utensils, local ecological products available

4-5PM: Yoga with a view to the Panama Canal: Bring your mat

5-6PM: Geoversity and the Biocultural Design Center: Presentation of the idea and our bamboo structures

6-7PM: Live concert: Jam, hosted by Carla Kjaerby

7PM- : DJ-music: Leon van Lier from the Netherland and Jakob Kronik from Denmark

We appreciate no use of disposable utensils
__________

Come with your family and friends at any time you like and stay as long as your own human batteries will last.

You can find us at the park by the Biomuseo and walk along the canal towards the America’s Bridge, the Design Center is one of the first houses on your right hand.

The event is free.

We hope to see you!
