How to transfer cash from UK to Panama (Panama City)

Well we are finally moving over next month, from North Cyprus. Going to play it by ear and rent somewhere for a while and see whereabouts we want to live permanently. So far we have looked at Coronado down to Pedasi etc but not the other side around David etc. We will start out renting around Coronado, Anton region hopefully, looking for places on line now. The one problem we seem to be stumbling over is how to access cash from our UK accounts in Panama without incurring large fees. Are there any Brits over there who get cash from the UK and if so how? All info tends to be about money from America or Canada which isn't very helpful for us unfortunately. Any help would be gratefully received.
