London Festival Orchestra Live on 30 October (Panama City)

One of the most famous orchestras in the world, the London Festival Orchestra, will perform at Teatro Balboa in Panama City on Saturday, October 30, at 8:00 p.m. It will be the first time Panama hosts this celebrated orchestra. The Saturday night program will include Mozart´s Concert No. 12 for piano and orchestra.

The London Festival Orchestra will be directed by Ross Pople, an eminent British conductor and a significant musician of our time. The solo pianist is none other than Martin Jones, who is one of Britain’s most highly regarded pianists.

This orchestra has a long history of touring. They are considered “ground breakers”, having performed in the Far East, the Middle East and the Americas; at the Seoul Olympics; as cultural ambassadors to Argentina at the resolution of the Falkland Conflict, with annual tours to Germany, France and the Netherlands and by “spearheading a shift in attitude towards past conflict” in the annual Remembrance Sunday Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
