Resident visa (Panama City)

Hi all,
As I posted on other Threads, my girlfriends company is offering her to move to Panama. As we are not married, this means I have some trouble to have the permanent visa. and if the government doesn't grant me the visa, I will not be included in her economic package!!
Anyhow, do you know people who are/were in the same situation? I'd love to hear on how they resolved this isdue!!
Other question: would it be possible to start a company in order to obtaining the permanent visa? Any experience on that?
