Tour in “Biomuseum” by Frank Gehry during weekends (Panama City)

The Biomuseo in Amador has announced its second summer season of guided construction tours. It is currently under construction at the of the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, and is projected to open to the public in Protected content . The curved roof will have bright colors.

World-famous architect Frank Gehry designed the museum and it will become a Panama landmark, just as much for its emblematic architectural design as for the valuable information it will provide inside. The central message at the Biomuseo will be how Panama’s emergence from the oceans three million years ago, and unification of the Americas, changed the world and the course of human evolution.

Visitors learn about the museum and the construction process and progress on the first Gehry structure in Latin America. The tours are free and take place Fridays at 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. beginning Friday, January 14. In order to take the tour, visit Protected content and sign up.
