Travel to Panama (Panama City)

We are couple in late forties. We love to live, dance and travel. We were thinking to spend December 25th - January 3rd in a warm place. We have been in Costa Rica, and tiered from cruising. We are thinking to visit Panama. We would welcome any suggestions about where to go, what to see, where to stay, what to eat, where to dance...in Panama.
