Advice for moving child in maternelle (Paris)

Hello all,

We will be moving to Paris from Bordeaux in March and we have a three year old in maternelle here.

Can anyone advise me on the easiest way to transition her to a new school? Do I just need to contact the mairie once we have found an apartment?

What about leaving the current school? I don't think she has received any marks yet but I assume there will be some document to pick up from the current school?
