Agency fee for Apt reimbursement by French Govt. (Paris)

Hello Expats, recently i heard that the apartment fee paid to Agency in France can be reimbursed from Government. Because i found my apartment through an Agency and i paid a huge amount.
Anyone is aware about it or is it just a rumor?
