Arriving to Paris

Hello everyone!

I'm a mexican girl who loves being in touch with other cultures. I'm going to arrive to Paris next summer for studies. So, I'd love to follow some recommendations from you people who are already (or have been) living there including entertainment, nightlife, not very popular but interesting spots to visit, monuments, ...ANYTHING! I'd really appreciate all your help.
I'm always available for a good and interesting talk.
