Changi Airport won 2015 World Airport Awards (Paris)

SINGAPORE: The Republic's Changi Airport clinched the World's Best Airport title for the third consecutive year at the Protected content Airport.

The airport was voted tops by air travellers, ahead of South Korea's Incheon International Airport and Germany's Munich Airport. This is the sixth time Changi Airport has picked up the title at the World Airport Awards, according to the press release.

Changi Airport also picked up the Best Airport for Leisure Amenities title - the 7th time it has done so - for facilities including cinemas, swimming pool and napping and rest areas.

We are undertaking a number of significant development projects including Terminal 4 and Jewel Changi Airport, with some works taking place amid ongoing airport operations. The World Airport Awards are based on 13.02 million customer nominations across air travellers of Protected content , and included Protected content worldwide. The survey evaluates customer satisfaction across 39 key performance indicators for airport service and product, from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration, through to departure at the gate.

At the Skytrax World Airport Awards on Wednesday, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport was named the World's Best Airport Hotel.
The Protected content hotel, directly linked to Terminal 3, is set to increase its inventory by Protected content next year.
The award - which includes the Best Airport Hotel in Asia - was based on nominations by 1.56 million airport hotel guests worldwide, spanning 65 nationalities. Twelve key performance indicators of the guest experience, including but not limited to hotel service staff standards, cleanliness and comfort of rooms and accessibility between terminal and hotel, were taken into consideration.
