🤜🦠 Due to the worsening epidemiological situation in 16 "départements" in France (Aisne, Alpes-Maritimes, Essonne, Eure, Hauts-de-Seine, Nord, Oise, Paris, Pas-de-Calais, Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, Seine-Maritime, Somme, Val-de-Marne, Val-d’Oise, Yvelines), the French government has decided to put in place a third lockdown (“confinement”) in these "départements" with effect from midnight on Friday, 19 Mar 21, for at least 4 weeks. Here are the details of the lockdown measures:
1. 🚶🏻‍♀️PERSONAL MOVEMENTS
• You would be able to leave your home for outings within a 10km radius and without a time limit. However, you would need the usual declaration (“attestation”) to do so. (NB: This document is not yet available but you can download it eventually on your TousAntiCovid app.)
• 🚫Inter-regional travel is prohibited except for work or for compelling personal reasons.
• With effect from Saturday, 20 Mar 21, the curfew will start at 7.00 pm instead of 6.00 pm currently.
2. 🎓 EDUCATION
• Pre-schools (“écoles maternelles”), primary schools (“écoles élémentaires”) and middle schools (“collèges”) will remain open.
• In-person classes in high schools (“lycées”) will be conducted in half-groups.
• Universities will continue to function according to current measures (students returning to school for 1 out of 5 days).
• Sporting activities will continue during school. Open-air extra-curricular activities will also be allowed to continue.
3. 🛍️ COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS
• Only essential businesses may remain open, including record stores and bookstores.
4. ⛪ RELIGIOUS LIFE
