French Courses in Universities (Paris)

Hello again!
I heard that Paris Sorbonne is a public university, therefore there are no tuition fees. I am interested to learn French there, however I've heard so many different versions to their fees. Some say that one semester could cost up to €3125, but isnt it a public university?

Otherwise, does anyone know any other public university which teaches french courses? Thank you!!
