Help on French Internet providers (Paris)

A similar question was posed in this forum some time ago, but the answers are all a bit dated. I'm in the process of deciding between Free and Orange. I got four opinions from Paris residents and they are split in the middle, so I'm struggling to make a decision. Any suggestions or recent personal experiences you can share would be most appreciated.
