Housing and language learning advise needed (Paris)

I am going to be in Paris for work for about half a year. In this respect I am seeking some advice/insights on the following:

1) My work location is going to be close to the metro stop 'La Défense'. As I am looking for temporary housing, which neighborhood makes the most sense to look for an apartment? The commute should not be longer than 30 min.

2) Are there any good portals to search for an apartment for 6 months?

3) I am trying to make the most out of the stay and learn for the duration, French. Are there any recommendations on schools/teachers offering lessons around 7:00 AM , just before work?
