Ideal for someone on a gap year. Given the delay before this position starts, the client can consider sponsoring suitable candidates if a working visa is needed. Ideally you will have done a double degree in French and law, have some secretarial and legal experience acquired in a demanding international environment and an interest in labour law.
• Calendar management, email inbox review, filing
• Preparation of meetings and managing contacts
• Document mark-ups
• Case organization, research and updating case lists and related documents
• Coordinate team work and ensure adequate communication (meetings, follow up, etc.)
• Realize expense reports and coordinate with internal and external accountants
• Redaction of project documents for clients: termination letters, transactional memoranda of agreements, work contracts
• Managing litigation cases, sending documents (forms, copies), pleadings, procedural documents
• Basic legal research: local legal resources and case law
• Creating excel sheets (managing litigation, statistics, lay-off expense estimates, individual or mass lay-off cost estimates, election results, etc.)
• Creating flow charts and timelines
• Preparation of PowerPoint presentations on basic subjects: termination for personal reasons, amicable termination, etc.

You are rigorous, flexible on hours (paid overtime), easy-going, dynamic, organized, resourceful, pro-active, autonomous, multi-tasker
Advanced MS Word and Excel, good PowerPoint
Bilingual English/French
College degree (law/French)
Some secretarial and legal experience in an international office environment
