Senior National Account Manager [m/f], 32051252 (Paris)

My client is leading the way in innovative next generation mobile retail marketing. Unlike traditional retail marketing methods, such as coupons and TV/Print advertising etc., it enables live interactive communication with the consumer. This generates higher foot traffic and with an instant discounts function it influences purchasing decision whilst the consumer is on-site, enabling retailers to increase ROI on communication spending at minimum costs. With an already impressive portfolio of clients, including some of the most recognised household brand names, the company are continuing to grow and aiming to become the worldwide leader for retail mobile marketing.

The company requires someone who is highly motivated and has experience of the retail industry. As a Senior National Account Manager you will be home based, ideally located in the Midlands to allow easy commute throughout France. This is a senior business development position, in which initially you will be responsible for developing new major retail accounts and then account managing them within France. Success will come from building a close relationship with clients, driving spot and develop new opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Drive new business with large multiple retail chains
- Target sectors including; fashion, Sports, footwear, DIY, Electronic-retailers
- Build relations with key decision makers such as Head of Marketing & Head of Retail
- Manage the relationships and sales processes that arise from the strategic accounts
- Responsibility for meeting monthly revenue and new business sales targets.
- Establish structured sales plans for key clients that align to the business revenue budget targets

Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience selling into major retailers and recognised high street brands.
- Contacts within the market place to be able to grow the business in France quickly
- Protected content demonstrated sales success
- Retail and/or mobile marketing experience ideal
- International sales experience a big plus and exceptional candidates would also speak an additional language (German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Swedish)

Professional Expectation:
The successful candidate demonstrates a strong experience & success in selling e-commerce solutions and concepts or marketing programs into retail chains on Senior and Executive Level in France. He/She has a good understanding of Business Processes and the collaboration of marketing, it and commerce departments within the targeted prospects. The successful candidate has the willingness and capability to build the business himself/herself and to turn prospects into customers quick. In line with the growth f the business the Senior National Account Manager must have the experience and capabilities to build and lead a successful organization in order to support the aim of having successful and long-term customer relationships. He/She will be the local interface to communicate and solve legal, commercial and technical issues with the companies’ headquarter. The successful candidate does ideally know what it means to work in a Start-Up company.

Results driven: He/She will meet and exceed sales targets while constantly expanding share of wallet and acquiring new customers through positioning the value add of the companies’ solution accordingly.

Strategic orientation: He/She is being expected to work in a very hands-on approach towards customers while building and leading the country organization. The Senior KAM will improve and develop an excellent expertise within the retail segment.

Customer success: He/She will meet and exceed sales and coverage objectives for the selected target accounts within the local retail business while focusing on customer value realization.

Open-minded and driven by success: He/She has the ability to build and develop intimate relationships to Senior and Executive Management within the assigned accounts in order to aim constantly to maximizing the results. The Senior Account Manager has to have the ability to work independent and entrepreneurial while keeping a close communication process with his/her management.

Collaboration and influencing: He/She is reliable and transparent, an excellent communicator and has strong interaction skills with both internal (Management, Product Development, local Team Members) and external (Customers, Alliance partners) peers.

He/She brings the capability of working highly independent and autonomous while delivering reliable information according to the targets being set. He/She knows about the importance and meaning of a stable reporting/forecasting and communicates absolutely transparent. He/She looks to work in a long-term based environment and is willing and capable to go the extra mile in order to support the necessary efforts. The understanding for the need to call customers is a given. Furthermore he/she knows about the meaning and consequence of working in a start-up or lean organization environment.
