Protected content significant year for the island-nation of Singapore as she celebrates her 50th anniversary of independence. This same year also marks 50 years of diplomatic ties between Singapore and France. To commemorate these milestones and celebrate the rich arts, culture and heritage scene of this modern Asian city, Institut français, the National Heritage Board, Singapore and the National Arts Council, Singapore present Singapour en France – le festival (Singapore Festival in France).

From 26 March to 30 June Protected content , Singapour en France will showcase the best in Singapore's contemporary art and culture in various French cities. Programmed in close collaboration with major partners and cultural institutions throughout France, the festival features diverse practices in visual and performing arts, film, design, as well as lifestyle components. This celebratory event brings to the forefront some of the most innovative and impactful movers and shakers from Singapore's creative communities.

Singapour en France is presented by Institut français (France), the National Heritage Board (Singapore) and the National Arts Council (Singapore), and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development in France, and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore.
