socail security in France ' acte de naissance (Paris)

Hello, I'm a Canadian living in Paris I'm working here and I'm looking into getting my social security and carte vital. The problem I'm facing is that my birth certificate cannot be accepted for the process of social security and I need to get a long form birth certificate from my province. In order to get this new birth certificate I will need my application to be noterized by a notaire or a commissioner for oaths. I'm wondering if there is someone else who has gone through this process who could tell me where I can find someone to noterize my documentation ect.
