U.S. expats, questions about voting in 2012? (Paris)

The Union of Overseas Voters is a Paris-based non-partisan, non-profit association governed by American citizens living abroad.  We are dedicated to empowering U.S. voters overseas by providing voter registration assistance and promoting civic engagement.

Do you plan to vote in Protected content ? Did you know that new federal legislation passed in Protected content makes it imperative that you file a new request for absentee ballots every election year.

If you don't, you may not receive ballots in Protected content , even if you voted in Protected content 2010.

And if your ballot doesn't arrive in time, you may have no recourse. You simply will be deprived of the chance to vote.

So to be sure you can vote in the November 6th Presidential and Congressional Elections, file a new request for absentee ballots now.

The Union of Overseas Voters is available to assist you the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month at Shakespeare and Company Bookshop, 37 rue de la Bûcherie, Protected content (Métro Saint-Michel), from 2-5pm.

You can also obtain your voter registration application and absentee ballot request from the Federal Voting Assistance Program at Protected content
