Pasadena is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, and is known for being an important source of culture in the San Gabriel Valley. Pasadena is often nicknamed ‘The City of Roses’ because of its annual Tournament of Roses parade as well as the Rose Bowl football game. Expats living in Pasadena will find plenty to see and do in the city, including the Norton Simon Museum of Art and the Pacific Asia Museum. The city also has plenty to offer in terms of shopping and entertainment, with Old Pasadena being a popular shopping destination with over 200 unique boutiques as well as many restaurants and clubs, whilst the city also offers live music and theatre venues.
