Almost ready for the next chapter (Penang)

Hello all,
So we are finally ready to retire and are coming to Penang for a few weeks next February to have another look around and hopefully meet up with some of you for coffee, drinks etc.
We are hungry to find out all we can about living there having visited Malaysia several times already.
Our plan is to get an MM2H visa and to make our move late Protected content .
Please tell us where the popular hangouts are so we can drop in and make ourselves known...
Oh and if you do want to catch up be prepared to have your brains picked!!
