Business in Penang

hi All,

My wife and I are looking for a place for our retirement, however, want to keep busy by having a local business and we love the look and feel of Penang, having lived in other Asian countries before. I understand in Malaysia you must have a local partner, and funds. Funds not an issue. Like other Asian countries I have lived and worked in, normally there is an Accounting firm; who can be your legal partner, but not really interfere in the business.... Can anyone give me some advise for Penang, please. Thanks in Advance,
