Moving to Penang

Me and my Malaysian wife are planning to move back to Penang early next year. So many things to consider before moving. A few questions to ask:-
1) I am a Brisitih and New Zealand citizen, how am I going to apply for spouse visa and can I do it in Penang immigration?
2) Do I need injection before moving?
3) Anyone knows about life/medical insurance for foreigner?
4) Anything that caught you out that we might forget to consider?
5) If I shift move my furnitures from NZ to Penang, does it take long time for the custom to clear?
6) Any advice if I take my car there?
