Need to Decide Between Perth & Adelaide ???

Hello All,
Me and wife are migrating to Australia... we are in midst of our process... It should take couple of months...
We have to decide and inform the authorities on the choice of city as we would be accordingly given visa?...
I have some friends in Perth who strongly feel that Perth is great and rocking. We are not sure so though would take some non-biased opinions?

We both are 35 and our out-going couple. Love sports and clubbing. Would like to be in a place where there is great work-life balance, great outdoor for traveling etc...

We are both professionals with nearly 14 years of work experience in our respective fields...

Would love to hear from you'll on what do you suggest... Perth or Adel ???
