Project Description

The 12km distance is a rare and exciting experience with over 30,000 participants. Whether you want to finish fast or at a more leisurely pace there is a wave to suit everyone’s speed.

Fitness Level: Intermediate/Completed the 12km Training Guidelines

Distance: 12km

Priority Starts: In order to qualify for a Priority Start position, participants must prove they can run the course in 45 minutes or less. Click here to complete the Priority Start Application Form.

Finish Location: City Beach Oval, City Beach

Water/Aid Stations: Water stations are located approximately every 2km along the course.

What you need on Event Day: All participants must wear their race bib in order to participate.

Bag Drop: 12km & 4km participants must drop their Clothing Bags at the Event Expo on the Friday or Saturday before the event as there is no event morning service. Clothing Service bags will be transported to the Finish Precinct at City Beach Oval ready for collection.
