schools (Perth)

hi we are moving to Perth at the end of the year i am irish livin in dubai and we will hopefully start the new school year in perth at the end of january i would love to get my three girls into Newman College private catholic school and we hope to live in this region
my 8 year old daughter is doing her communion next year and it would be lovely to get the opportunity to do this in a school where its part of the curriculum etc
please advise other similar schools? and also any comments on newmans etc
i will have to apply for the three places as there is a waiting list
also the best areas near by to live???
