The German actor was born and raised in Chile as a child of German emigrants.
He left his native country decorated as “best Chilean actor” in Protected content , following an invitation of the Goethe Institute to join the state theater of Kassel, Germany.
In Protected content founded the Garn-Theater in Berlin, which he has run as a one-man-show ever since, both as director & main actor.
He has also performed in a large number of theater and film roles in German independent productions, as well as in major films such as ‘Zeiten ändern Dich’ by Uli Edel, ‘Der Vollidiot’ with Oliver Pocher and ‘Liebe deine Nächste’ with Moritz Bleibtreu by Detlev Buck.

‘A Report to an Academy’ is based on Franz Kafka’s short story.
Adolfo Assor fascinates his audience with this intense monologue by an ape turned human who was captured in Africa by the Zoological society of Hagenbeck. He is giving a presentation to an academy, describing his former "apish life" and his struggle of becoming almost human … which he undertook not out of any desire to actually become human, but only to provide himself with a means of escape from his odious cage…
