The Rose of Education Organization Celebrates Tai Goodwin, as its 'Socially Responsible African American Entrepreneur' for Monday, September 27, Protected content .
The Rose of Education Organization’s mission is to target at risk African American males ages 6 – 10, and their adult support system, to provide them with comprehensive access to the necessary resources, services and information, which can assist them in better providing for the needs of the child, as well as their own.
To that end, Tai Goodwin, has aligned her business with the organization’s focus and has generously agreed to provide free tele-classes, once per quarter, to assist those that the organization identifies as being able to benefit from her services. A brief description of her business follows:
“Tai Goodwin, The Career Makeover Coach, is on a mission to help people stop settling and start creating the career and life they want. Believing that entrepreneurship is the key to financial independence and setting solid role models for our children, her approach is simple: Launch your business while working full time. Is it challenging yes – but no more than living under the weight of being underpaid, under-employed, and unappreciated in a career that doesn’t fit. It’s possible to earn an income and do work you love. The trick is having the right connections to ideas, information, and tools to move from idea to action. For articles and inspiration on starting your personal career makeover, visit her blog, and connect on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.”
