Looking for Short-term Rental In January 2016 (Porto)

Hi. my husband will be relocating to Porto in January Protected content . We are looking for a short-term rental until we receive our Titulo cards and can find an apartment to rent.

We are unsure how long we should expect to be in short-term housing before we can get into a permanent apartment. I would welcome hearing from others about how long this process took for them, and how they found their first short-term place.
