Currently the company is looking to recruit Electronic Data Interchange Manager EMEA, who will be located in Prague, Czech Republic
Through strong leadership and collaboration with the other IT teams, the EDI manager will:
Be responsible and manage the EMEA EDI program and strategic initiatives. Manage and support additional B2B supply chain collaboration within the company's system landscape.
Deliver solutions of the highest possible quality with the respective development groups.
Actively contribute in delivering the projects on time, on budget and in the acceptable quality.
Coordinate file transfers between systems, business partners and customers.
Plan, direct and coordinate daily activities of a team.
Ensure proper handling and timely processing of electronic data files.
Manage, plan, and guide the daily activities of the electronic data interchange department.
Manages and leads the EDI project including documentation, quality assurance, implementation support, and workflow management.
Ensure that technical requirements (Performance, Stability, Maintainability, Compatibility) are addressed in the application design.
Provides guidance to the development team and performs technical & functional reviews of deliverables
Coordinates and collaborates closely with the European business owners of the corresponding EDI solutions. Build and maintain the good relationship.
Performs regular quality insurance checks and functional reviews
Cooperates closely with offshore development partners through all relevant project lifecycle steps.
University degree or college diploma
Requires at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Demonstrable experience in working in partnership with vendors / customers
Familiar with a variety of the EDI concepts, practices, and procedures.
Experience of systems integration with SAP R3 preferred (SAP IDOC)
Excellent English (verbal and written) plus one other European language preferred
Demonstrable experience of people management
Advanced analytical and fact based decision making
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
