Scope of employment
The customer service & logistics coordinator is responsible for effectively performing the customer order fulfillment processes, while cultivating effective relationships with both customers and colleagues. Activities include order acquisition, order entry, Vendor Managed Inventory replenishment, transportation bookings, managing export processes and conforming to regulatory requirements. The customer service & logistics coordinator is the link between the customer and is responsible for carrying out strategies that align the Supply Chain with customer expectations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a close working relationship with key customers and subsidiary colleagues; understand their business and supply needs, volume agreements and service expectations.
Manage customer product replenishment by Vendor Managed inventory,ensuring compliance to agreed inventory and out of stock levels.
Manage order fulfillment processes for customers, including order acquisition and order entry.
Manage warehouse replenishment processes for key European warehouses
Collaborate with customers and subsidiary colleagues on planning, implementing and controlling promotional and new product inventory requirements.
Determine/ verify/ communicate and control any key account sell-in volumes and peak period activities.
Do monthly and weekly transport planning schedules for key customers, in collaboration with subsidiaries and carriers.
Do daily transport planning and bookings with selected road and ocean carriers for the appropriate FTL and FCL route(s).
Manage all export documentation processes, including invoicing and Letter of Credit, customs documentation, product batch information, health certificates, product sample testing and all customer specific requirements.
