Filmmaking in Prague

I am beginning research on my move to Prague. I have been researching a few film schools in the Czech Republic. Anyone have any experience with any filmmakers in or around Prague? I have been told, and the research so far confirms, that Prague is a hot spot for cultural activities and is popular for filmmakers both indepedent and from big production companies. Any words of wisdom from exapts or natives will be wonderful.

I am also checking into a Czech language course and found a year long program at Protected content
Anyone have any information regarding this or a better program?
