COME INSTAWALK THIS SATURDAY IN MANDELA'S PRETORIA (Pretoria)

The Pretoria Diplomatic Associatoin (PDA) board cordially invites Internations Pretoria to join in the unique experience of InstaWalking in former President Nelson Mandela's Pretoria shoes.

This first event Diplomatic InstaWalk in Pretoria event is sponsored by City Properties. It is fashioned in similar vein of InstaWalks across the world exploring the heart of a city's CBD, unlocking the wonderful gems it has on offer.

One of those gems unique to Pretoria are the footsteps Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tata Madiba left in Pretoria, spanning moments from his Struggle Hero days to the time of his death.

Participants will experience indelible Madiba (magical) moments including the venue of the internationally known Rivonia trials, rare access to his prison cell at the Palace of Justice on Church Square (normally not open to the public) and reminisce the route of his cortege along Madiba street, among others

Other iconic city spots to be visited are Burgers Park, its famous greenhouse, the Old Tramshed, amazing birds eye views of Church Square from the top of Rentbell building and the oldest cafe in Pretoria, Cafe Riche among others

Secure parking has been arranged while security throughout the walk will be provided courtesy of City Properties, renowned for their rejuvenation of the CBD recently recognised by the City of Tshwane in an Award for contributing to safety, security and renovation of the Pretoria CBD.

For your additional comfort, coffee and croissants will be provided on arrival, as well as bottled water, chocolates for the extra energy and more. Afterwards we all relax at Market@Sheds
